The International Conductors’ Festival offers conductors the meaningful experiences that are critical to their development on and off the podium. Our program is ideal for any conductor with advanced training who is seeking substantial and real experience conducting a professional orchestra in both rehearsals and concerts.

During the one-week festival, participants rehearse extensively with the Lyatoshinsky Ensemble (a full-time professional orchestra) for significant, uninterrupted periods of time, and each conductor appears in two public concerts.

There is no primary teacher at ICF. Directors Matthew Brown and Christophe Rody mentor participants, guide the experience, and coach conductors on the podium only when necessary or requested. ICF fosters a collegial and growth-oriented atmosphere in which like-minded conductors learn from each other, from the orchestra, from the music and from themselves.

Tuition for ICF Kyiv is $1,200 US Dollars, which includes high res. video of your concert appearances dubbed with audio recorded from the hall.
